Boulder Creative Expo & Spring Schmoozer

Showcase your work at the first-ever Boulder Creative Expo on May 27, 2026!

What It Is

Are you looking for more work, or a way to spotlight the work you’re already doing? Here’s an opportunity to show businesspeople your creative talent, so the next time they’re looking to create content – a headshot, a video, a website – they’ll remember YOU!

Welcome to the Boulder Creative Expo, a new, annual in-person showcase of Boulder’s exceptional creative talent, from filmmakers and graphic designers to producers, editors, craft services, photographers, equipment rentals, and so much more!

The Boulder Creative Expo is a unique opportunity to show your work to people that could potentially hire you! Because we’re part of the Boulder Chamber, we’re able to engage directly with their 1,250 member businesses to inspire them to attend the Creative Expo and meet you. This is all about building relationships, and it’s one of the main reasons why the Film Commission is part of the Boulder Chamber – so we can bring businesspeople right to you and help you make these vital connections.

"There is no other event like it in our community. This Creative Expo was built to raise visibility, spark collaboration, and position our creatives for their next big opportunity."

- Bruce Borowsky, Boulder County Film Commissioner

Why It Matters

With the help of the Boulder Chamber, we’ll be getting local businesses to attend this free event and engage with all the amazing creative talent we have in Boulder County. We’re tired of local businesses doing a Google search and finding local creative talent in Denver and beyond – we have PLENTY of world-class creative talent right here in Boulder County!

The event will take place on Wednesday May 27 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Boulder (venue TBD); booths are affordably priced, and exhibitors will be supplied with a 6’ table, with options for multiple tables, AC power, etc.

This “trade show”-type event will help connect local and visiting producers, agencies, and large and small Boulder County businesses with the top-tier talent and support services driving projects of every scale. More than just booths, the Creative Expo highlights the people and small businesses powering Boulder’s creative scene, and the unique environment that fuels our innovation. At its core will be the wide variety of exhibitors that spotlight the services, skills, and creative strengths shaping Boulder’s future.

Boulder’s creative sector is not just gaining ground, it is generating buzz. With major productions, global attention, and events like the Sundance Film Festival all happening in our community, the Boulder Creative Expo serves as a key tool for crew and talent discovery, collaboration, and project development.
